An excellent opportunity now exists for a Financial Analyst, reporting to the Finance Manager for the WA & NT Business Unit at Santos. As a valued business partner and contributor to financial performance of the WA&NT Business Unit, you will also have the opportunity to expand your skills and experience providing support for other members of the WA&NT Commercial and Finance team as required.

You will be responsible for pro-actively ensuring that information is analysed and interpreted to deliver the required financial reporting to the Business Unit and Corporate, develop the existing reporting standard to supply more accessible finance data and improve business outcomes, provide timely management information and ensure that actual and forecast results are communicated to enhance performance. You will also be responsible for integrating financial inputs into the Business Unit asset portfolio where you will gain exposure to economic modelling.

Development of appropriate performance measures and systems/process to support best practice performance monitoring and reporting, integrated with budgeting, forecasting and planning processes, is also a key requirement.
