Technical Support Engineer

Summary of responsibilities:
Perform installation, configuration and preventative maintenance hardware and software system. Manage problem identification, problem escalation, and may provide basic training and technical support to Customer, maintain site logs & develop solutions. May assist with the preparation of technical presentations, establish positive customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.



Requirement:
Minimum Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, graduate from reputable universities.
Minimum of 3 years working experience as System or Network Engineer.
Has a strong technical knowledge of complex multi-vendor, multi-platform hardware, network and system components.
Strong knowledge in network and system administration, troubleshooting both in windows and linux environment.
Has a strong ability in analyzing problems and very methodical in solving problems.
Willing to take appropriate risks and accept accountability for actions.
Quick learner and highly motivated in learning new technology.
Able to display a high degree of tact and diplomacy skills.
Fluent in English for both oral and written.
Preferable holding CCNA, MCSE or RedHat Certification.


Physical Demands:
Must be responsive to 24-hour customer service commitment and follow the alert procedures. Some travel required.
