Chief Accounting, Vacancy (Located in Nusa Dua - Bali)

  • Accor Vacation Club is seeking an experienced Chief Accounting who will perform a key leadership role in the Accounting team. This role directly reports to the Financial Controller – Bali and will work closely with the Regional Director of Finance for Accor Indonesia in meeting financial reporting requirements.
  • In this role you will be responsible for:
  • Contributing to whole-of-business initiatives
  • Managing core financial accountabilities across the business
  • Ensuring the timely production and accuracy of reporting required by statutory authorities and management users.
  • Providing critical financial information and operational reports to support strategic and operational decision making
  • Manage accounting database, including process for end of the month
  • To be considered for this role you must have:
  • S-1 Accounting Degree from local reputable university or overseas accounting/ business degree


Experience:
Strong statutory, local business and corporate tax, annual budgeting process
3 - 5 years operational experience in a demanding accounting role
Experience working within a busy small finance/accounting team

Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of local accounting standards and IFRS
Strong knowledge of local tax laws
Advanced Microsoft Office skills essential and experience in Great Plains would be desirable
Proficient in speaking and writing both English and Bahasa Indonesia

Conducting credit investigations and analyzing credit/financial information pertaining to loans.
Assists business bankers with the preparation of loan requests presentations, monitors existing credit relationships, and prepares summaries and presents facts concerning credit-worthiness.

RISK MANAGEMENT, Vacancies
Responsibilities:
Develop/review policies and guidelines on market risk management procedures and control standards.
Evaluate market risk limits and recommend remedial/corrective actions on market risk management.
Recommend the use of market risk mitigation instruments/measures to Risk Management Committee and Board Risk Management Committee.
Provide macro-economic analysis to assist Risk Management Committee and Board Risk Management Committee and the other functions of Risk Management Division and analyze and report on expected market conditions.
Support the planning function of Risk Management Division by providing information and views on prospective developments in the economy and the implementations on the company’s business plans and budgetary aspirations.

Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Business Administration or Law.
Min 1 year related experience in Risk Management preferably in merchant bank, financial institution or a public listed company.
Strong aptitude in research and analytical studies.
Good communication and presentation skills with high proficiency in verbal and written English & Bahasa Indonesia
Strong analytical skills, self-starter and able to work independently.
Solution oriented, flexible, innovative and willing to take on challenges.
