Job description
In charge of the overall IT/IS operations of the organization. He/She provides technical support and maintenance of the IT/IS systems and networks of the organization.
Job Responsibilities
IT Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of computer systems and the successful implementation of IT related projects.
Job Requirements:
Possess degree in IT/Computer related field
At least 3 years of end-user and sites supporting experience
Solid business sense with good understanding of the overall IT infrastructure
Able to translate business processes into technical specifications for IT configuration or development
Experience in project co-ordination and knowledge in SDLC process
Strong project management and negotiation skills, independent, logical, creative and detail-oriented
Experience in data conversion, user training and change management
Good team player and able to work under pressure
Pleasant personality, self-motivated and proactive
Knowledge in Linux, MS SQL, Progress, and NAVISION is an advantage
Knowledge of Microsoft software such as: Exchange 2003, Office suites
Knowledge of Router, VPN, LAN, and WAN implementation and management
Knowledge of IT security such as firewall management
Independent and able to work under pressure
Good communication skills
Good attitude and willing to learn
Ability to lead end-users for IT implementation projects
